Aiming to cultivate professionalism among Malaysian students in Singapore, “Speak Up” aims to equip them with important skills which include personal branding, personal grooming, networking and public speaking. “Speak Up” was joined by World Champion in Public Speaking, Darren Tay. He gave his super eloquent speech on tips and skills to attempt public speaking confidently. It was a superb experience for the participants, as well as, our council members to listen to World Champion, Darren Tay’s deliverance. HR officers came down for tips on managing a LinkedIn profile and hosted a resume writing workshop. Overall, “Speak Up” provided an interactive networking platform for Malaysian students to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and expand the outreach of ICMS in Singapore.
