Professional etiquette is of great importance in today’s business world as it enables the exhibit of a polished image and establishes confidence. As such, ICMS’ partners EY extended exclusive invitations to 36 7th Council Junior Associates from the MY Chapter to attend a professional etiquette workshop at Menara Millenium. The workshop was conducted by Ms Lee Soo Fern (Talent Leader of EY Malaysia), who shared some golden rules for dressing professionally in various settings as well as proper networking etiquette. She highlighted the 3 keys to managing branding and impressions, including authenticity, professionalism, and awareness. Participants also learned about etiquette in the workplace as well, which meant the proper conduct when using communication platforms such as e-mails and other messaging applications at work. Apart from greatly benefitting from the workshop, participants were also briefly introduced to the operations and career opportunities at EY, which is also a global leader in professional services.
